Work Experience

I e mailed Sam Ashley who is a senior photo editor of Document magazine about work placement for the Big Push Tour 2008 which is covered by Document magazine. This year especially, they are organizing five skate companies to go on a five day tour
I got an e mail back from Sam Ashley saying that they had already assigned photographers for the event. Also, he said that the magazine puts an awful lot of pressure on the photographers as the tour is very intensive and demanding.

Work Placements

I am very interested in getting work placements in sports photography and the NASS fest is one of the British highlights of sports. Document and Sidewalk have done coverage of the festivals
I e mailed the sponsorship enquiries manager first. In my e mail, I showed him my published work in Sidewalk and my sports portfolio and sequences
He e mailed me back to request a cv as he wanted me to work alongside the graphic designers before the festival.
He e mailed me back to confirm the dates I would be working for NASS fest
and the rights of the images as I would be working as a photographer covering the event for their website and prints
